Independent service
AwardBeacon is an independent service and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or operated by Flying Blue, Air France, or KLM. Flying Blue and related trademarks belong to their respective owners. AwardBeacon does not sell airline tickets, transfer or redeem Flying Blue Miles, or book flights on your behalf.
What the Service does
AwardBeacon lets you describe the Business Class award trip you are looking for by creating a Trip Monitor. During the active monitoring period, we use the preferences you submit to look for potentially matching Flying Blue award options. If we identify a relevant option, we may notify you by email.
We determine the methods and tools used to perform monitoring and may change them over time. Such changes do not alter the duration of an already purchased monitoring period.
Fees and monitoring period
A new AwardBeacon Trip Monitor costs a one-time payment of €14.99 and provides 30 days of monitoring. It is not a subscription and does not renew automatically.
From 3 days before a monitoring period ends, and after it has ended, you can extend that same Trip Monitor for another 30 days with a separate one-time payment of €12.99. Extension is optional, reuses the trip setup already saved, and does not start by itself. If you extend while monitoring is still active, the remaining time is kept and 30 days are added to the current end date. If you extend after monitoring has ended, the new 30 days start when that payment is confirmed; the days in between are not included. A new trip is always €14.99.
Payment is processed by Stripe. The first payment covers 30 days from confirmation. Each extension is a separate one-time payment for 30 days, as described above. Nothing renews automatically.
Paying for a Trip Monitor does not guarantee that a suitable award trip will be found during the monitoring period. You remain responsible for checking availability and completing any booking directly with Flying Blue or the relevant airline.
Booking and award availability
Any flight availability, Miles pricing, taxes, fees, cabin information, or other itinerary details communicated by AwardBeacon are provided to help you identify a potentially suitable booking opportunity.
Award availability and pricing can change. A potential match therefore does not guarantee that the same availability, price, taxes, or conditions will still be available when you check or book.
You are responsible for verifying the complete itinerary directly with Flying Blue before booking, transferring points, purchasing positioning flights, booking accommodation, or making other non-refundable travel arrangements.
We do not guarantee that a suitable award trip will be found for every Trip Monitor.
Acceptable use
Please use the Service lawfully and reasonably. You agree not to:
- Submit false contact details or attempt to impersonate someone else
- Abuse, overload, or disrupt the Service, including through automated bulk submissions
- Attempt unauthorized access to admin areas, other users’ data, or underlying systems
- Use the Service for spam, unlawful purposes, or purposes unrelated to award-trip monitoring
We may refuse, suspend, or close Trip Monitors where reasonably necessary to prevent abuse, protect the Service, comply with legal obligations, or address a material breach of these Terms.
Cancellation, refunds, and withdrawal
If you purchase AwardBeacon as a consumer, you have the statutory right to withdraw from your purchase within 14 days after entering into the agreement, without having to give a reason.
To keep the process simple, if you exercise this right within the 14-day withdrawal period, we will refund the price paid for that purchase (€14.99 for a new Trip Monitor, or €12.99 for a 30-day extension) and stop the associated Trip Monitor. Your statutory rights are not affected by this policy.
You can withdraw online using our withdrawal form , by contacting support@awardbeacon.app , or through any other legally valid method. You do not need to give a reason.
After the statutory withdrawal period has ended, the purchase is normally non-refundable merely because no suitable award trip was found. This does not limit any refund, cancellation, or other remedy to which you are entitled under mandatory consumer law, for example if we fail to provide the purchased Service as agreed.
Privacy
How Felsy processes personal data when providing AwardBeacon is described in our Privacy Policy .
Service availability
We aim to provide AwardBeacon reliably, but we cannot guarantee that the Service will always be available without interruption or error. Availability of third-party systems and award inventory is outside our control.
We also cannot guarantee that every available award option will be identified or that an option identified by AwardBeacon will remain available until you book it.
Liability
AwardBeacon provides information about potentially relevant award options but does not control Flying Blue, airlines, award inventory, pricing, taxes, or third-party booking systems. We are therefore not responsible for changes made by those third parties after information has been identified or communicated to you.
You remain responsible for independently checking the itinerary and deciding whether to book or make related travel arrangements.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits any rights or liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited under applicable law.
Governing law and disputes
These Terms and your agreement with Felsy are governed by Dutch law. If you are a consumer, this choice of law does not deprive you of any mandatory consumer protection that applies to you under the law of your country of habitual residence.
If a dispute cannot be resolved directly with us, it may be submitted to a court that has jurisdiction under applicable law. Nothing in these Terms restricts any right a consumer may have to bring proceedings before a court that is competent under mandatory consumer-protection rules.
Suspension and termination
We may suspend or stop providing the Service, or refuse, pause, or close a Trip Monitor, where reasonably necessary to protect the Service, comply with legal obligations, prevent abuse, or address a material breach of these Terms.
A paid monitoring period ends on its monitoring end date. Expiry of the monitoring period does not by itself mean that the associated data is immediately deleted. Our handling and retention of personal data is described in the Privacy Policy.
Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time, for example to reflect changes to the Service, our business, or applicable requirements. The “Last updated” date at the top of this page shows when these Terms were most recently revised.
Changes will not retroactively reduce the essential terms of an active paid monitoring period unless a change is required by law. Where required, we will inform you of material changes.
