Why one search rarely covers the trip
One search, one combination
A search is a single route, a single set of dates, and one cabin.
Availability moves
Business Class award space can appear on a nearby date, or from a different departure airport, and then disappear again.
A brief covers more
A Trip Monitor can hold a date window, a trip length, and more than one departure airport, inside the miles, taxes, and stops you accept.
One search is one combination.
A flight alert follows a route and a date you already picked. A Trip Monitor holds the trip you would actually take.

Flying Blue alerts
What are Flying Blue award alerts?
A way to hear when a Business Class option may fit a trip you have described. With AwardBeacon, that brief can cover more than one route and date. A potential match is not guaranteed.
How much does a Trip Monitor cost?
A new Trip Monitor is €14.99 once and covers 30 days. There is no subscription and no automatic renewal. From 3 days before that period ends, the same Trip Monitor can be extended for another 30 days at €12.99. Extending early keeps the days you have left.
Does AwardBeacon book Flying Blue flights?
No. You verify the itinerary and book directly with Flying Blue. AwardBeacon does not reserve seats.
Can I monitor more than one departure airport?
Yes. You choose a preferred airport and can add alternatives.
Does AwardBeacon need my Flying Blue login?
No. A Trip Monitor needs your trip preferences and an email address. We never ask for your Flying Blue credentials.
What if no potential match appears?
The monitor stays active for 30 days, then ends. You can extend that same Trip Monitor. A potential match is not guaranteed.
Is a potential match guaranteed to still be available?
No. Award availability can change between searches. You verify it on Flying Blue. AwardBeacon does not hold the seat.
